”I have covered various roles, collaborating with different offices and departments: this has been an extraordinary opportunity to enrich my store of knowledge and expertise.”
What is your role at Bormioli Rocco?
I have worked as a Buyer in the Purchasing Department at the main office in Fidenza since April 2016.
In particular, I follow special projects concerning packaging materials – principally in cardboard for the Home Business Unit – and analysis procedures, quotations up to order confirmations; I keep in constant touch with suppliers in order to optimize the acquisition of packaging materials and to guarantee the timely scheduling of materials.
How would you describe your path at Bormioli Rocco?
I worked for eight years in the Supply Chain area, principally in Logistics. I have covered various roles, collaborating with different offices and departments: this has been an extraordinary opportunity to enrich my store of knowledge and expertise. After my return from maternity leave, I took the opportunity to collaborate in the Purchasing Office, an opportunity that allowed me to further broaden my outlook and my approach to the Supply Chain.
What do you like about your work?
I have only worked inside this team for a few months, but I have been able to interact with various departments. This allows me to become acquainted with new activities and to better understand corporate dynamics.
What principal added value does your activity offer to the Bormioli Group?
My hope is to respond to the expectations of those with whom I collaborate and work, in terms of timeliness and product quality. Obviously, minimizing costs for the Group. It will be the people with whom I collaborate that will judge my work, though!
Why would you suggest that someone work for Bormioli Rocco?
“Bormioli Rocco is a wonderful company where one has the possibility to learn and understand the many dynamics that a group of this dimension goes through every day. With curiosity, humility and desire to work, it is possible to learn many things.”
